“Peter was all about community,” says Teresa Alvarado, the former director of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley, which sought to expand philanthropy to Hispanic donors. “When one CEO of a major foundation scoffed at us and the work we were doing, Peter tried to set him straight.”.
